Junior Golf Rentals
In 1988 our founder Paul picked up his first set of golf clubs. A half set of Wilson Patty Berg clubs that belonged to his brother that had been up the loft for over 10 years.
Paul's passion for golf began and fast forward to 1995 Paul enrolled as a PGA Golf Trainee at Drumpellier Golf Club in Scotland. He fully qualified as a PGA Golf Professional in 1999 and left Scotland to coach golf full time in Holland. Upon his return to Scotland Paul became the Head Professional in his hometown at East Kilbride Golf Club.
It was here where Paul, along with the amazing help of the committee and members helped rebuild a dwindling junior section. Only a few years later they had several junior members competing in national championships and indeed their Junior team won many local and county championships during this period.
It was in 2014 when Paul left East Kilbride Golf Club to join Broadlees Golf just a few miles up the road, where Paul's passion for coaching and especially junior coaching started to flourish.
Broadlees Golf started their own academy in 2008 under the watchful eye of PGA Professional John Dunlop. By the time Paul joined Broadlees there was over 100 kids in their academy.
As a golfing father himself one of the major issues is kids not having their own clubs, or worse still having clubs that are not the correct length. When Paul's son Oliver (middle name Seve) was born he was given his first putter. Nearly every year since Oliver has had a new set of clubs (thanks to the in laws) Kids grow so fast out of everything and golf clubs are not cheap.
